My Gaming Life

Just an insight...

So how did I started gaming, well I only started gaming when I was in my second year of secondary school. I was introduced to the game they call "League of Legends", but after awhile, it got stale and I quit and that was when I got introduced to yet another game called TERA.

League of Legends

League of Legends

League of Legends (LoL) is multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA) video game developed and published by Riot Games. In this game, players assume the role of a "summoner” that controls a "champion", each with its own unique set of skills and abilities. The goal is to destroy the opponents "nexus", a structure which lies in the heart of the enemy's base. There are different classes of champions classified into the following: Marksman, Mage, Slayer, Tank, Fighter and Controller. Usually champions are also further divided into roles/lane based on their classes: Top, Mid, Bottom, Jungle and Support.

So what do is my preferred role in the game? Well I tend to play the supporting role and I also prefer beefy champions whose very tanky, though I do occasionally play assassin champions.

TERA Dungeon Run

The Exiled Realm of Arborea (TERA)

TERA (short for The Exiled Realm of Arborea) is a 3D fantast themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Bluehole Studio. The game was first released in South Korea on January 25, 2011 then Japan, North America and Europe in the next year.

I have been playing TERA for 3 years now, I have tried many classes since then but I have found my favourite role, the mystic, which is a healer and support type class. Many people say that healers are boring and why would I enjoy playing the healer class instead of going for something more flashy like damage classes. Well, I feel like healers have to micro-manage everything, from healing to staying alive to cursing the boss to cleansing, having the need to manage all these information makes you feel that you're in control of the fight and that’s what I like about healers.
